Fellow Workforce Development Professionals,

The State of Nevada encourages your participation in our Veterans Employment and Training Services "Performance Award and Incentive Program" to recognize quality employment, training and placement services delivered to United States Veterans and military personnel.

The objective of the program is to recognize Workforce Development Professionals who have made a substantial contribution or effort in providing services to United States Veterans and military personnel. While the program is funded by the VETS grant, nominees do not need to be employed as VETS representatives to be eligible for these awards. Eligible nominees are all individuals; offices or organizations providing services through an employment service delivery system that provide services to Veterans through the Nevada JobConnect system.

The deadline for submission of nominations is April 30, 2007. Incentive award funds are to be obligated by September 30, 2007 (end of the Fiscal Year) and expended by December 31, 2007.
