The
Information Development and Processing Division (IDP)
provides data processing and information technology support services to
DETR and its customers. The Division oversees Nevada’s automated
workforce and rehabilitation information systems. These systems consist
of various business applications and online web services that support
Nevada’s employers and job seekers.
Information
Systems Applications and Customer Support Services ,
is responsible for departmental application software development,
maintenance, and implementation. It also supports and maintains
DETR’s various personal computers, workstations, printers, and
associated desktop software, and
provides ongoing computer operations, scheduling,
and processing of DETR’s mainframe and in-house client server
applications.
Technical
Services
is responsible for departmental telecommunications
and Call Center support, as well as database administration and
development services. As it applies to DETR applications, Technical
Services provides server and mainframe system configuration,
maintenance, and operating system support and is responsible for
application access and security administration, internal network
engineering, design, and maintenance support.
The Special
Projects and Quality Assurance unit is
responsible for DETR technology project oversight and management,
information technology quality assurance and quality control,
departmental Internet and intranet web site maintenance, and
technology inventory control.
